Ninja Artifact:

With Ninja, the beamer attaches to its target immediately, without any travel time. It doesn't pull (or push) you any faster, but the instant-attach enables you to get around and change direction very quickly. In addition, if you keep still for a short time, you go into a RealDamage-equivalent assassin mode.

How to use

Ninja can be used either offensively or defensively. On offense, the fast beamer allows you to get in and out of the enemy base very quickly. In addition, you can escape most attacks if you need to wait for you own flag to be returned.

On defense, stand somewhere out of sight and wait for the right moment to fire. Eightball and sniper rifle are good weapon choices. Try to kill with one shot so that you don't give away your position. Change location from time to time in order to keep the enemy on their toes.

How to fight

The speed of the beamer makes Ninja a difficult target, especially on maps with large wide-open areas. If you're really having a hard time bringing down a Ninja flag carrier, there are a few different options. Aim works well, especially with RealDamage. Witch will stop Ninja cold because you can't really use the beamer while cursed. But you have to keep hitting the Ninja every second or so to keep the curse active. As a last resort, Banshee will definitely do the trick as long as you scream close enough to the Ninja.

For a camping Ninja, the first priority is to find out the location. If you die by assassin, try to figure out where the
shot came from and knock the Ninja out of there at the first opportunity. Shadow is a good tool for this since the Ninja won't see you coming. Resist is also effective because of its RealDamage immunity.
