Shadow Artifact:

Shadow gives you complete invisibility, even when you are carrying the flag. You can be briefly seen after being touched, taking damage, or using any weapon except the Shadow Axe. Dispersion Pistol is replaced by Shadow Axe, which is very short range but does a lot of damage - particularly if you attack a stationary player from behind. If you use the beamer, your beam can be seen as well.

How to use

As an offensive artifact, you can sneak around in the enemy base and kill defenders before they know what hit them. If the enemy base is empty, grab the flag and make your escape. After a few seconds you will be completely invisible. If there are enemies near, try to avoid doing things that could give away your location. For example: making sounds (e.g. jumping);  touching pickups (health, armor, weapons); using the beamer; and activating doors or lifts. If you see a player going around shooting their AutoMag, they probably have Aim - get out of the area as quickly and quietly as possible. Seek out hiding places that aren't obvious, and that have a
minimum of exposure.

How to fight

Aim is definitely the best artifact for tracking down Shadow; but you still have to look around and try shooting all different places. While hunting, don't shoot predictably, and don't waste ammo. Aim will hit almost anything in your line of sight, so don't fire another bullet until you have a new area to check.

If you have a rough idea of where Shadow is hiding, Banshee can be used for an instant kill. But you need to have teammates to back you up, otherwise the enemy may regain both your flag and Shadow before you have time to return.
