Vampire
Artifact:
Vampire
gives you health in proportion to the damage you inflict on enemies. But
after one kill you cannot drop the Vampire artifact. Furthermore, your
health deteriorates at a rate of 1 unit per second - you must have blood
to survive! Health packs are an acceptable substitute however. Vampire
includes magical armor almost as strong as Ram,
plus an increase to maximum health. Last but not least, a Vampire attack
on an enemy Ally
results in a Blood Feast, which damages all of the Ally's nearby teammates.
How
to use
Vampire
can be very effective either on offense or defense, provided there are
enough enemies around. If your team has the Ally
artifact, don't let Vampire fall into enemy hands. Stay near King
or a friendly mystic eye to keep your health topped up without having to
roam for health or enemies. Combine with RealDamage for an almost unstoppable
killing machine.
How
to fight
If
Vampire attacks a group of your teammates, spread out - don't give Vampire
a lot of easy targets. Ninja
is a good artifact to use against Vampire because the fast beamer makes
a difficult target. Once Vampire is worn down, close in for a kill. Witch
is another alternative, effective because you can immobilize the Vampire.
If you are the Ally
and suffer a Vampire attack, drop the artifact as quickly as possible to
prevent a Blood Feast from taking out all your nearby teammates. |
