Monk
Artifact:
Monk
replaces the Dispersion Pistol with MonkFu grip, gives you permanent high
jump (can be combined with jump boots for super high jump), and invulnerability
after standing still for a short time. MonkFu is a short-range weapon that
does a lot of damage and throws the enemy; while using MonkFu, you are
immune to splash damage and rockets bounce off harmlessly. MonkFu and invulnerability
are not available while you are carrying the enemy flag.
How
to use
Stand
still to block strategic places with invulnerability; especially teleport
destinations. Enemies attempting to teleport to a monked location are instantly
killed. Other good places to camp are RealDamage and small doorways. If
an enemy fires at you while you are invulnerable, it provides a regeneration
effect. Stand near your Ally
to protect the Ally from death.
If
an enemy keeps firing on you while you are invulnerable, resist the temptation
to fire back unless the enemy is close enough for a MonkFu hit. Even then,
be careful because invulnerability will take a while to kick in after you
attack. Also, wait until you are fully regenerated by enemy fire.
How
to fight
There
are two ways to get rid of an invulnerable Monk - use Witch
to make the Monk jump and shoot, or use Lake
to pull the Monk away with the beamer. |
